Lori Ann Cox, 54, of Forest, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 3, 2015. She was the daughter of William H. and Barbara J. Cox.
She was born June 30, 1961, in Kings Park, N.Y. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Bill Cox and Nancy, of Long Island, N.Y., Bob Cox and Jim, of Washington, D.C., Todd Cox and Shelly, of Lynchburg; and her beloved nephew Joseph.
A special thanks is given to the staff of the Lynchburg General Hospital Oncology Department as well as the hospice staff of Virginia Baptist Hospital.
A Mass of Resurrection for Lori will be held 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Thursday, August 6, 2015, with Monsignor Michael McCarron officiating.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
