Lou Anne Craft Burford, 64, of Forest. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 6, 2019.
Lou Anne was preceded in death by her father Billy P. Craft, and her nephew, Carter Scott Craft.
Lou Anne is survived by her mother, Rosalie Burford Craft; her son Eric Scott Collier and his wife, Amanda; her grandson Maxx Collier; her sister Karen Craft Combs and her husband, Anthony R. (Tony) Combs; her brother, Kendall Scott Craft and his wife, Stacey; her nephews, Anthony Rush Combs, Colston Brockenbrough Combs, and Addison Craft.
Lou Anne was a graduate of Brookville High School and Randolph Macon Women’s College and also served as Miss Lynchburg.
Lou Anne owned and operated Forest Pet Care, a popular kennel in Forest. She was regarded as the most successful breeder of Belgium Laekenois dogs in the U.S., raising and finishing many Champions of this breed.
Lou Anne spent the last decade of her life caring for her Mother, Rosalie, the absolute love of her life. Lou Anne’s commitment to her Mother’s comfort and care was steadfast and unwavering.
