Louis Edward Almond, age 70, entered his eternal home on March 12, 2023. Born December 14, 1952 to Bill and Joyce Almond. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Sharlene Wagner Almond; daughters Olivia Patrick and Stephanie Baker; grandchildren Wyatt, Charlie and Josie Patrick and Cohen and Camden Baker. Also surviving are his mother Joyce Thornton Almond and brothers Bill, Bobby, and Johnny.
Ed’s 40 year career in industrial construction was perfect for his knowledge, skill and ability. He worked as a union pipefitter out of Local 491 in Roanoke and Local 10 in Richmond.
He loved his two beautiful daughters and adored his grandchildren. They were the light of his life and their love kept him going.
Celebration services will be held March 25, 2023, 10:00am at Faith Fellowship in Wirtz.
