Louis Stephen Sady was born September 2, 1921 and went to his heavenly home March 3, 2011.
He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bible study, prayer and sharing his faith were the most important things to Mr. Sady. His favorite verses were John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life," and John 3:30, \"He [Jesus] must increase, but I must decrease.\" Mr. Sady loved to share the gospel, rarely neglecting the opportunity to witness for the Lord wherever he went. He believed that at death, the physical body returns to dust, and the soul of the believer is welcomed into heaven. He believed what the Bible says in 2 Peter 3:9, that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. His prayer was that all reading this would take John 3:16 seriously and receive the gift of eternal life. Anyone who knew Mr. Sady knew heard his encouragement to \"live faithfully and serve lovingly.\" His wife, Roberta Wheeler Sady, five living children, Robert Sady, Steve Sady, Georjean Sady Radford, Michele Sady Prince, and Maran Sady survive him. A fourth son, Peter Sady, who died in 1987, rejoiced to welcome him in heaven. Other family members include 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one brother, George. He was a World War II Vet, a resident of Westminster Canterbury and had retired from pastoral ministry at Thomas Road Baptist Church in 2005. A memorial service is scheduled at TRBC\"™s Pate Chapel March 10 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Mr. Sady wished that donations be given to Baptist International Evangelistic Ministries, Louis Sady Memorial Fund, for Bibles to Russia. www.baptistinternational.org or 121 Commerce Drive Suite 50, Danville, IN 46122.
