Louise P. Daniel, 93, of Lynchburg died Wednesday, February 16, 2011.

Born Sunday, January 13, 1918 in Talladega, AL, Louise was a daughter of the late George Rader Williams and Katherine Baird Williams. Louise was married twice, first to H. W. Percival and then to Raymond Daniel.

Louise is survived by her daughter Susie Poole and her husband, John, of Lynchburg, VA, two grandsons, Keith and Patrick Poole, of Lynchburg, three nieces, Betsie Kielty and her husband, Tom, of Richmond, Katherine Cole, of Midlothian, and Sue Anderson and her husband, Steve, of North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, and her husbands, Louise was preceded in death by two brothers, George R. Williams, Jr., and Lewis B. Williams, and two sisters, Mary Katherine Williams and Margaret W. West.

Louise graduated from John Marshall High School in Richmond, and attended the Richmond Division, College of William and Mary, School of the Arts. She was a very artistic person, her love for art carried over into all aspects of her life. She loved music, especially big band, Frank Sinatra and the old musicals. She especially loved to dance and socialize with people. She will be missed.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 21, 2011 in Maury Cemetery, Richmond, with the Rev. William J. Watson, III, officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff of Runk & Pratt, Forest, and everyone at Seven Hills Hospice for their loving care and support of Louise.
