Lucas Judd Pack, 23, of Rustburg, died on Monday, September 2, 2013 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on June 11, 1990, a son of Ronald W. Pack and Allene Parks Pack.
In addition to his parents, Lucas is survived by one brother, Eric Koenig and wife, Anne of Glen Allen; three sisters: Gretchen Koenig of Rustburg, Brynn Koenig of Lynchburg, and Lauren Lesniak and husband, John of Lynchburg; three nephews, Haydyn Lesniak, Camdyn Lesniak and Asa Koenig; his grandmother, Mildred D. Pack; five aunts: Bobbie Trent and husband, Samuel, Jane Evans and husband, Rex, Frankie Dalton, Sarah Shaeff and Linda Parks; four uncles: Donnie Pack and wife, Boo, Sammy Pack and wife, Vege, Joy Long and wife, Claudia, and Dana Parks and wife, April; a special friend Amber Brooks; and many great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
Lucas was predeceased by his grandfathers, H. E. Pack and Frank A. Parks, Jr., and his grandmother, Ruby Winstead Parks.
Lucas was a graduate of Rustburg High School and a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church. He worked as an equipment operator for Seven K Farms in Rustburg.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Rustburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Roger Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
