Lucile Dooley Williamson, 96, of Montvale, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015. She was the wife of the late Ishmael Flora Williamson.
Born May 4, 1918 in Bedford County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Davis Dooley and Hettie May Witt Dooley.
Lucile is survived by her son Robert J. Williamson and his wife, Emily; daughter, Sarah Carter Meador; daughter-in-law, Louise Williamson; grandchildren: Tammy Welch, Carol Carter, Jeffrey Carter, Tina Williamson, Tony Williamson; three great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by son: Clifford Williamson; sisters: Elsie Wooldridge, Ruby Leftwich; brothers: Hamid, Walter, Glen, and Aaron Dooley.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in Tharp Funeral Home with Rev. William Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Glade Creek Baptist Church Cemetery on Webster Road. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Tharp Funeral Home.
