Lucy Ann Franklin Haupt, of Lynchburg, Va. aged three months and seventeen days, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. She was born Sunday, September 11, 2016 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Julie Franklin and Zach Haupt; siblings, Quentin and Sophia; grandparents, Dana and Janet Franklin, and Hazel Haupt; aunt, Abigail Franklin; uncle, DeShawn Haupt.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Reggie Mack.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who saw her sweet face and heard her spirited cries.
A celebration of Lucy’s life will be held at Peakland United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. John Vest; Emma Johnston, M. Div; and Rev. Dr. Lynne Alley-Grant officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at UVA Medical Center and the Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville for all of their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to UVA Division of Neonatology and Children’s Hospital, UVA Health Foundation, P.O. Box 400331, Charlottesville, VA 22904-4331.
