Luke Pillis

Dr. Luke Pillis, 96, of Lynchburg, VA died February 8, 2015.
Dr. Pillis has been known and loved by many, most of whom have lasting smiles made perfect by his Orthodontic talents. Dr. Pillis was the first Orthodontist in Lynchburg, practiced for more than 20 years and retired well into his 70’s.
He survived his loving wife, Isabelle, who died April 10, 2013, also 96. Luke was a wonderful father to Isabelle’s children, Richard, Thomas, Christine and Susan Kulenek all these 48 years. He was a gentleman’s gentleman.
A service will be held at Westminster Canterbury Chapel on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 2:30 pm. He will be buried at Arlington Cemetery to honor his Navy career and service to our country. He will be missed.
