Luke Scott Gray

February 21, 1991 — March 4, 2021

Luke Scott Gray, born in Oceanside, California on February 21, 1991, died unexpectedly from complications of a car accident on March 4, 2021. He was currently residing in Moneta, Virginia on Smith Mountain Lake.

Luke was survived by his parents, Duane Gray, and Laura and Jim McKenzie, his great grandmother, Wanda Bartch, his grandparents, Jim and Donna Gray and Pete and Doris Solowsky, his sisters, Kimberly Silva (Kevin) and Nikki Gray O’Hara (Lawrence O’Hara), his step-siblings, Michael McKenzie and Karie O’Malley (Brian), his niece Emma Silva, and many extended family and friends.

Luke was a cancer survivor in 2006, and a survivor of a multi-trauma motorcycle accident in 2016. He was an avid Harley- Davidson motorcycle rider, passionate about cars and boats, and loved to travel. The same car that took his life, took him across country and back and all along the east coast. Luke was compassionate and willing to help anyone. We are thankful for the 30 years that he was with us.
