Lula P. Agee, 83, of Bedford, died Thursday, August 16, 2012 in Oakwood Health & Rehab. She was born December 4, 1928 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Judson Virginia Overstreet Parker and Preston Henry Parker.
Lula was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and a retiree of Frank Chervan, Inc. with over 24 years of service.
In addition to her parents, Lula was preceded in death by husband, James William \"Bill\" Agee; four brothers, Claude Parker, Lonnie Parker, John Parker and Abner Parker; and one sister, Myrtle Dooley. She is survived by a son, James A. Agee and his wife, Barbara of Hawaii; three grandchildren, James W. Gregg, III and his wife, Shelly of Bedford, Jennifer Ann Blackwell and Daniel Agee and wife, Echo both of Hawaii; seven great-grandchildren, Holley Gregg, Megan Gregg and Cameron Gregg all of Bedford, Jeffrey Blackwell and Brandon Blackwell both of Hawaii, and Nolan Agee and Catie Agee both of Hawaii; two brothers, Allan Parker and Buford Parker both of Bedford; one sister, Frances Amos; two sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Lula\"™s life will be conducted at 12 Noon, Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe A. Shoop officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
