Lynn Marie McMahon, 59, of Lynchburg, Va., formerly of Unionville, Conn., passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at her residence. She was the loving wife of John Albert McMahon for 44 years.
Born in New Britain, Conn. on April 28, 1958, she is the daughter of Helen Agnes Ravagli of Appomattox, Va. and the late Alfred Richard Ravagli. Lynn devoted her life to caring for her family, and earned her Associates Degree from Northwestern Connecticut Community College in 1994.
In addition to her husband and mother, Lynn is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Marie Musick and husband Andrew, of Lynchburg; her son, Daniel John McMahon of Lynchburg; her brothers, Joseph Ravagli and wife, Brenda, of Pamplin, and Richard Ravagli and Jeannine of Appomattox; her granddaughter, Breanna Lynn Musick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 2:30 p.m., at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 2938 Oakleigh Ave, Appomattox, VA, with Fr. Jim Gallagher officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence of Helen Ravagli following the service.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
