M. Lorraine Harris, of, Brookneal, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
She was born on September 20, 1934, in Moneta, Va., to the late John Ballard Harris, Sr. and Gladys Mamie Pagans.
She was retired from General Electric/Erickson. Some of her favorite hobbies were fishing and working in her garden.
She is survived by two children, Bonnie Trent of Aurora, CO, Hubert Vasser of Big Island; Two step children, Jenny Mays (Darrell) of Evington and Billy Burnett (Lisa) of Lynchburg; Twelve grandchildren; Twenty great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by three brothers and one sister; and many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by two children, Harold Burnett and Linda Wood; and two grandchildren, Anthony Wood and Marcina Rawlings
She leaves behind many family and friends who will miss her.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg, Virginia 24502. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
