Mackie Ann Spinner, 87, of Lynchburg died Monday November 19, 2012.
Mackie was born February 23, 1925 in Charlotte County a daughter of the late George Allen Boyd and the late Gladys Bolden Boyd. Mackie was retired from the Internal Revenue Service and was a member of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her children: Jesse R. Spinner of Lynchburg; Bunnie Jatkowski of Calif.; Ronda C. Spinner of Lynchburg; and Al Abbott and his wife Cheryl of Upper Marlboro, MD., Nine grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, two sisters: Jeanette Graves of Gretna and Delores Jones of Washington D.C.
A Memorial Service for Mackie will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 1, 2012 at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church with the Rev. Catharine Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
