Maggie Laura Wright, age 72, of Appomattox, Va., went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Lynchburg General Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Bobby Wright.
She was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Maggie W. Cash. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny “Bones” Blankenship; her brother, Clinton H. Cash.
Laura leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Roger D. Wright (Belinda) of Amherst; her brother, Herman “Buddy” Cash (Jeanene) of Woodbridge; her sisters, Edna Brightwill (Esmond) and Geraldine McFaden, both of Madison Heights; one sister-in-law, Rosabelle Cash of Madison Heights; one grandchild, one great-grandchild.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Centra Health and Amherst Dialysis for your wonderful care.
A memorial service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home, 118 Commonwealth Drive, Madison Heights, Va. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, and other times, at the home of Geraldine McFaden.
