Marcia Darnell Guthrie Gilliam

Marcia Darnell Guthrie Gilliam, 66, of Bedford passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was born in Lynchburg, VA on June 30, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Guthrie and Theresa Henson Guthrie. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Gilliam, Sr.
Darnell retired from RST Marketing. She loved to read, play computer games and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Darnell is survived by her two sons, Joseph “Joey” William Gilliam, Jr. and Christopher “Chris” Lee Gilliam; one granddaughter, Krystil Marie Gilliam; two brothers, James Guthrie and his wife, Barbara and Mike Guthrie and his wife, Trish; also numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
