Margaret Ann Stratton Mason

Margaret Ann Stratton Mason, 62, of Bedford passed away on June 2, 2023, at her residence. She was born on May 4, 1961, in Lynchburg, VA. A daughter of the late William Stratton and Mabel Apperson Straton. In addition to her parents Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Destiny Grace Gordon a sister, Lynn Stratton and her brother William Dan Stratton.

Margaret was a fun and very loving woman. She loved the outdoors while swimming, going for rides and enjoyed riding horses. Her love for music was so evident. Often, she could be found dancing and enjoying oldies music. Her family was everything to her and she will be missed so much.

Margaret is survived by her Fiancée, Frank “Les” Gowen; two children, Joel Shelton Gordon and his wife, Ariel and Haley Pearl Bortzer and her fiancée, Phillip Scott Kerr; seven grandchildren, Lilly Marie Kerr, Jayden Gordon, Jackson Hall, Jacob Gordon, Jolon Shelton Gordon, Jax Arbogast and Jacy Arbogast; one sister, Nancy Stratton. Also surviving are numerous other family and so many friends.
