Margaret Fitzgerald

Margaret Fitzgerald, 94, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully at her residence on October 4, 2018.  Margaret was born June 30, 1924. . She is preceded in death by her late husband Hobson Fitzgerald Jr.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Cheryl Crouch (Robert Crouch), her grand-daughters ; Jeri Lynn Fanney, Heather Peters (Jason Peters ), and her great grandchildren; Makenzie, Ian, Emilie, Nate, and Khloe.

She was a nurse with Centra Health for over 30 years before retiring. Margaret was a loving mother and cherished Nana.

The family will receive friends and family Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory of Lynchburg. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

Nana, you left us such sweet memories;

Your love is still our guide;

Although we cannot see you;

You will forever be at our side.
