Margaret Marie “Bluckey” Farmer, 73, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Avante Nursing Home. She was born March 17, 1944 to the late Bertha Marie Farmer Bradley and preceded in death by two brothers, James Woodrow Bradley and Alvin Bradley, both of Lynchburg, Va.
She is survived by two sons Joseph Leon Farmer, Sr. of Lynchburg and Edward Lee Farmer (Tammy) of Richmond, Va.; one daughter Levette Marie Biggs (Milton) of Shawnee, Kan., and a loving devoted friend; four grandchildren: Joseph, Brianna, Kayla, and Jessica. She is also survived by five sisters: Barbara Scott (Clifton), Irene Johnson, Joyce Farmer, a devoted sister Mary Jones (Harold) of Lynchburg, and Janie Woolfolk (Rev. Woolfolk) of Phenix, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of “Bluckey’s” life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Carl B. Hutcherson, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Burial Park.
