Margaret Herring McVean, 68, of Lynchburg passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018.
Margaret was born in Gainesville Florida on July 29, 1949. The daughter of the late Thomas Enoch Herring and the late Jane Hilliard Herring. Margaret worked as a legal accounting specialist for many years. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed quilting, reading and traveling. She is survived by her son David Thomas McVean and his wife Jennifer Weslie McVean of Longwood, FL, two grandchildren Ryan and Kristian, Niece Cheryl-Anderson-McKenna, great nieces Breanna Campbell, Kathryn MeKenna, and Katelyn Bradley.
In lieu of a memorial service, the family is asking donations be made in her name to the Lynchburg Humane Society.
