Margie Conner Abbott

Margie Lillian Conner Abbott, 76, of Bedford, passed away Friday, September 30, 2011, in Oakwood Manor. Born April 14, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Conner and Jessie Sloan Conner.In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her husband, James Edison Abbott, Sr.; two sisters; Frances Amos, Mary Bradshaw, and one brother Otis Conner. She is survived by two sons; James E. Abbott, Jr. and wife Tina; Robert C. Abbott; two daughters; Cathy Sue Abbott, Terri Renee Wheeler and husband John; granddaughter, Kayla Marie Abbott; two brothers; Maynard Conner, Otis Conner. Memorial contributions may be made to; National Kidney Foundation, 1742East Parham Road, Richmond, Virginia 23228.A private Graveside service will be conducted Sunday with the Rev.
