A Household Name, “Do you know “Rita Kidd?” (As many of her friends called her) they answered, YEEESSSS… and the story would begin…! Rita had a huge smile like our dad (George Sr.) combined with our mom’s (Margaret) a big heart, strong will, determination, with a heaping spoon of matter-of-factness from our Aunt Mattie (preceded in death), plus her beautifully creative side to boot (speaking of Boots, just like her friends she had a lot of those too!). With her BIG personality (in a short stature) these attributes opened many doors which connected with a plethora of people who became lifelong friends. Rita, daughter, sister, wife, mother of 2 and true friend loved the LORD as if HE were fresh flowers in bloom.

Allsberry -1 (Ray preceded in death), Durham, NC, (sister) Minnie L. H Thomas-5 (Temple Hills, MD), (brother) Oscar L. Hill-3 (Pat) (Raeford , NC), and (sister) Mary H. Thomas -3 (Clifton Thomas preceded in death) (Raleigh, NC), sister in law, Elva L. Kidd Tranks (Lynchburg, VA), preceded in death by two brother in law’s Hunter F. Kidd and William F.
