Marian McCaw Schuster, 53, of Forest, Virginia passed away at her home on Monday, October 22, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Gary S. Schuster for 21 years.
Marian was born on December 6, 1964 in Butler, Pa., a daughter of the late G. Blair McCaw and Hazel Badger McCaw. Marian was 1982 graduate of Butler High School where she was a member of the marching band and also served as Worthy Advisor for the Butler Chapter Rainbow for Girls. She went on to pursue her education at Grove City College where she graduated in 1986 with a degree in accounting. Marian worked as the Finance Manager for Tessy Plastics and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed traveling, photography, baking and also loved Pittsburgh sports.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Gary Schuster, Jr. of Forest, Gregory S. Schuster and his wife Adrian of Stafford, and Brandon Schuster of Bethlehem, Pa., and a sister Sheila McCaw of Baltimore, Md. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, brother and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Marian’s Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with the Rev. Peter Thompson of First Presbyterian Church officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
