Marianna Louise Chittum, age 2, died Tuesday January 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Cleotilde Garcia.
Born on May 10, 2018, in Charlotte, N.C., she was the daughter of Raymundo Lopez Garcia and Megan Chittum. Mary was momma’s princess who loved to play and go fishing with her mom and dad.
In addition to her parents, Mary is survived by her sisters Dania Emma and Dania Lopez; her brothers, David and Alexis Lopez; her maternal grandparents, Edwin and Cheryl Gonzalez; her paternal grandfather, Porfirio Lopez; her aunt, Heather Chittum; her uncle Charles Chittum (Crystal); and many loving cousins and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights and other times at the residence of Charles and Crystal Chittum.
A Celebration of Life for Mary will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights, Va., with Pastor David Cash officiating.
Interment will follow the service in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, 722 Leesville Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Madison Heights, is assisting the family.
