Marie Breeding Hudson, 91, of Lynchburg, died Sunday, January 7, 2018. She was the wife of the late James Lee Hudson.
Marie was born on August 16, 1926, in Printer, W. Va., a daughter of the late Paris Breeding and the late Pearly McClanahan Breeding.
She is survived by a son, Mike Hudson of Lynchburg; two daughters, Melissa Brooks (Donald) and Jennifer Clay, both of Lynchburg; nine grandchildren: Michael Lance Hudson, Cory Ray Hudson (Jenny), Justin Lee Brooks, Jessica Marie Brooks, Joshua Michael Brooks (Haley), Jennah Shyann Brooks, Alexa Marie Clay, Bryson Carter Clay, and Bradley James Clay; and three great-grandchildren: Keagan Ray Hudson, Kolbie James Hudson, and Mason Lee Brooks. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Sandusky Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sandusky Baptist Church, 915 Catalina Place, Lynchburg, VA 24502, or the charity of your choice.
