Marie Rose Irene Duperval Chamblain

Marie Rose Irene Duperval Chamblain, 84, of Miami, died Monday, January 4, 2010.  She was the wife of the late Vital-Herne Chamblain for 50 years.

Mrs. Chamblain was born August 11, 1925 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, a daughter of  the late Rochelle Duperval and Oresa Cinal Duperval.  She, along with her late husband, were the owners of Usine D\"™Huiles Essentielles in Haiti and she was of the Roman Catholic faith.

She is survived by seven children: Jaqueline Chamblain, of Miami, FL, Romeo Chamblain, of Haiti, Paula Chamblain, of Arlington, VA, Jean-René Chamblain and wife, Monique, Haiti, Yolette Lubin and husband William, and Thomas Chamblain, all of Miami, FL, Lucie Toussaint and husband Yves, of Forest, VA; 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Blaise Duperval and a sister, Meuze Duperval all of New York.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Marc-Donald Chamblain and Jean-Louis Chamblain and a sister, Annette Jean-Francois.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.  A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Tree of Life Ministries with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating.  Interment will follow in Tree of Life Cemetery.
