Marilyn Marie Woody, 72, of Forest, passed Tuesday, November 3, 2015. She is survived by her husband Arnell Tony Woody.
Marilyn was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on December 23, 1942, a daughter of the late Nathan Pullen, Sr., and the late Flossie Calloway Pullen. She was a devoted member of Rivermont Baptist Church in Lynchburg.
Marilyn is also survived by her son, Brian Mack and his wife, Carita; daughter, Sharon D. Mack; brother, Nathan Pullen Jr.; grandchildren, Quentin Nathaniel Mack, Victoria Leigh Mack, and Steven Christopher Mack; also her precious great-grandson, Julian Mack.
A visitation will be held at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg on Saturday, November 7, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with services for Marilyn following at 12 p.m. in the Tharp Chapel. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. A repass will take place in the Commonwealth Room at Tharp Funeral Home following the interment.
