Marissa Kristina Blair

With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce Marissa Kristina Blair unexpectedly left us on September 19, 2024 at The University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville Virginia. 

Although we know her soul is at rest, there is no greater sorrow than someone going away forever. Marissa brought so much joy to her family, friends and everyone who knew or crossed paths with her. She was a bright shining light with a true beauty inside and out and will be missed to a degree that words could never express.

Marissa leaves to cherish; her mother Soronya Lombre Hudson, step-father Lincoln Hudson, brothers Dasan Hunt [Kendra], Adrian Lombre [Brandon] and Cameron Blair all of Amherst Virginia, step-sister Lakyn Hudson of Richmond Virginia, special friend Jamal Dowell who she loved dearly and fur child Tunchie. She also leaves grandmother Martha Blair, step-grandmothers Marcia Lombre and Clardine Hudson, uncles Colao Lombre [Tracy], Terenciano Lombre [Alexandra] and Kori Lombre, aunts Torayra Penn [Hughsie], Shelita Stallings [Gerald], Susan Kay [Micah], Taylor Lombre, Naya Lombre, Brooklynn Lombre, Valerie Bowling [Phillip], Cathy Hudson, Gayle Ferguson [Tommy], Edith Rose [Gene], great aunts Shirley Robinson and Wallice Vaughn, nieces Braelyn Hunt and Aaliyah Dunkley, nephew Jaydin Rohde and a host of relatives and very special friends. 

The family will be celebrating the life of Marissa on September 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church 8408 Thomas Nelson Highway in Lovingston Virginia and would love for all who loved and had to pleasure of receiving the happiness and love Marissa shared with everyone to join them in the remembrance of her life. She will arrive and be available to the public one hour prior to the services. 

The family would like to thank everyone for all calls and support during this time of great loss and would like to also give a special thanks to the University of Virginia Emily Couric Cancer Center and Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory.
