Mark Donald Leftwich, 57, of Hardy, passed away on Sunday April 8, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Salem, VA on December 26, 1960. A son of the late Franklin Donald Leftwich and Doris Elizabeth Nelson Leftwich.
Mark loved spending time outdoors, gardening, listening to classic rock music. He also enjoyed going for walks, working on computers and spending time with his German Shepherd Samson. He will be missed by his family and friends dearly.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Altice; two step-sons, Keith Manning and James Manning; a mother-in-law, Linda D. Altice also numerous cousins and many friends.
A celebration of Mark’s life and memorial service will be conducted at 2:00pm Monday, April 16, 2018 at White Rock Baptist Church. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Smith Mountain Lake is assisting the family.
