Martha Ann Tisdale, 73, passed away Monday afternoon November 15, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at Virginia Baptist Hospital.
She was born on April 9, 1948, in Lynchburg, VA where she lived, worked, and raised her family. Ann was a devoted mother, a fiercely dedicated grandmother, a proud passionate great-grandmother and loving aunt and friend. She could drive you crazy and make you laugh all in the same breath. She will always be forever loved and deeply missed.
Preceded in death by her mother Lula E. Tisdale; her brothers: Warren, Donald, Linwood, her sister Debra, and nephew Pierre.
She is survived by her children: Anthony Tisdale (Sally), and Tamala Tisdale; her sister Denise Bateman (Bobby); grandchildren: Crissy, Jemelle, Seneca, Amber, Tiana, Briana, Brandon, and great-grandchildren: Jaden, Leah, Lauryn, Britan, Mason, O’Brian, Legend, devoted cousin Geraldine and many nieces, and nephews.
A service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, VA with Pastor Marvin Suitt officiating.
