She became actively involved at St. John\"™s Episcopal Church, but after her marriage to Jack, she joined Westminster Presbyterian Church where his family had been longtime members. In more recent years, she returned to St. John\"™s where she remained active until her health prevented regular participation. Although she was a member of the Dogwood Garden Club, the Junior League of Lynchburg, and various church organizations, Martha\"™s devotion to family was her greatest joy in life.

Vie and Martha\"™s son-in-law, the Rev. Robert D. Morrison, Jr. The family will receive friends at a reception after the service in Magill Hall at St. John\"™s Church.
