Martha Falwell Ferguson, 68, of Lynchburg died Wednesday February 6, 2013.
Martha was born August 5, 1944 in Lynchburg a daughter of the late Walker Eubank Falwell and the late Gertrude Ella Thomas Falwell. Martha worked in the Finance department with General Electric and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son Alan Ferguson and his wife Karen of Madison Heights, two granddaughters Bailey and Jordan Ferguson both of Madison Heights, a brother-in-law Sam Phillips of Lynchburg, a niece Jackie Lipscomb and husband Bruce of Chicago, ILL, a nephew Chad Phillips and his wife Jenny of Lynchburg, great-nieces and a great-nephew Brooke and Blake Lipscomb, and Christie Phillips.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Anne Phillips and Nancy Falwell.
A Memorial Service for Martha will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 16, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Louis Beckwith officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church.
