Marty Ann Martin Lipscomb

Marty Ann Martin Lipscomb, 61, of Madison Heights, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023. She was the loving wife of Larry Wayne Lipscomb for over 35 years.
Marty was born December 2, 1961, in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Peyton Roger Martin and Linda Lou Hillsman and Emmitt Tolber of Madison Heights and her step mother Sue Martin of Florida. Marty graduated from Brookville High School, worked in customer service with Genworth for many years and attended Amazing Grace Ministries in Lynchburg. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by a sister Kim Rivera of Norfolk, and a brother Bryant Hillsman of Lynchburg.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
A Celebration of Marty’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Evans officiating.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Amazing Grace Ministries, 2400 Langhorne Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
