Marvin “Milan” Manning

Marvin “Milan” Manning age 77 of Lynchburg Virginia and formerly of Roanoke, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Monday January 13, 2025. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Elsie Manning, Daughter Tracy Garrett, Son in law Lee Doss, Brothers Larry and Brian Manning. 

Surviving are his wife of 58 years Glenna Manning, Daughter Michelle Thomas(Mack), Daughter Marcy Doss and Fiancé, Andy Vass, Grandchildren Mandi Tyree, T J Carnley, Julie Garrett, Samantha Schilling, Kaylee Doss and Milan Vass. 10 Great Grandchildren and one on the way. Sister Lora Trout and Second Mama Lois Rowlett, Son in law, Gary Garrett. 

Services will be held at Tharp Lynchburg Chapel 4 P.M. Friday, January 17, 2025 with The Rev. John Sines, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior.

Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
