Mary A. Oremland, age 74 of Lynchburg passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 in a local hospital.
She was born March 5, 1940 to the late William and Margaret Edgeworth in Muncy PA. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Matthew D. Fortado formerly of Gloucester, MA.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Oremland of Lynchburg; two daughters: Jennifer O’Brien of Lynchburg, Christine Fortado of Nashua, NH; one granddaughter, Melissa Brennan of Nashua, NH; a brother: William Edgeworth and wife, Marie of Baltimore MD. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service and scattering of her ashes will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
