She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Holt and husband, Joseph E. Holt, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherran Smiley; daughter in law, Carol Easterly and her husband Bill; 4 grandchildren, Paige Fraasch and her husband Don, John Michael Holt and his wife, Sonia, Dean Wendt, and Jennifer Peters and her husband Tim; 8 great grandchildren: Derrik Sandoval, Brandi Volkers, Morgen Sandoval, Samantha Holt, Jessi Volkers, Jessica Holt, Christine Holt and Tyler Holt; her sister, Sarah Smith and her husband Ed and many nieces and nephews.
She met the love of her life when she was 15 and they have been a couple for nearly 80 years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Bedford Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
