Mary Alice Takach, 78, of Lynchburg died Friday January 16, 2015. She was the wife of the late Joseph Paul Takach, Jr.
Mary Alice was born September 15, 1936 in Hazleton, PA a daughter of the late Hugh Boyle and the late Esther Dunnigan Boyle. Mary Alice worked as a professional X-Ray technician at the office of Dr. Jack McCloskey in Somers Point, NJ and was a parishioner and played organ at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for many years.
She is survived by her two daughters Lianne Takach Hunt and husband Clifton Scott of Lynchburg, and Michelle Takach McCrohan and husband Eugene of North Bergen, NJ, a brother J. Bernard Boyle and wife Joyce of Sugar Loaf, PA, and one granddaughter Cuillen Therese Hunt of Lynchburg.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday January 20th, 2015 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
Two visitations will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday January 22nd & 23rd at Boakes Funeral Home in Mays Landing, New Jersey.
A Funeral Mass for Mary Alice will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 24th, 2015 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with a viewing one hour prior to mass at the church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
