Mary Almond Kidd
Mary Lee Almond Kidd, 60, of Lynchburg went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday November 13, 2013.
Mary was born August 7, 1953 in Lynchburg a daughter of the late Dyer T. Almond and the late Rachel Carwile Almond. Mary worked for over 32 years at the Neurology Associates in Lynchburg, was a member of Tree of Life Ministries and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.
She is survived by her daughter Marlina Kidd Doss and her husband David of Burke, two grandchildren: Chace and Austin Doss, a sister Donna Key and her husband Dallas of Bedford, niece Jessica Burns and family and a nephew Dallas Austin Key and family.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
A Celebration of Mary\"™s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 16, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel Lynchburg. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
