Mary Bruce Terry

Mary Bruce Terry, 83, of Bedford, died Monday, November 15, 2010 at her residence. She was born March 23, 1927 a daughter of the late Carl Bruce and Julia King Bruce. Mary was a loyal member of Longwood Avenue Baptist Church and loved her church. She ran Terryland Nursery for many years.In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Tech. Sgt. William Robert Terry, and a great-grand daughter, Marissa Burnette; also two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her children; Tony Terry and fiancée Sherrie Henson of Staunton,Robin Terry Lambert and husband, Thomas, Jr. of Moneta; Mark Terry of Bedford, a special friend, Myrtle Webster, ten grandchildren, Tonya Terry, William \"Bo\" Terry, Tony Moon and wife, Katrina, James Terry and wife Karen, Chris Terry, Hailey Terry, Cecila Burnette, Amy Terry, Amanda Terry and Daniel Terry; nine great-grand children and brother Ben Bruce and wife Shelia of Alabama, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4504 Starkey Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev.
