Mary Elizabeth Kelly, 86, of Lynchburg, died on Monday, June 27, 2022. She was the wife of the late Edward Keher and mother of the late Kevin Keher.
Born in New York, on May 22, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Mary Kelly and Vincent Kelly.
She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, West Babylon, NY. Mary was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Zoccola and her husband Marc Zoccola; four grandchildren, Kelly Canfield, Rachel Canfield, Stephen Canfield and Molly Canfield; one brother, Stephen Kelly and wife Grace Kelly, and one sister Theresa Geoghegan and husband Denis Geoghegan; sisters in-law Delores Gibson, and Rita Kelly; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Vincent Kelly sister Kathleen Clifford and her husband Thomas Clifford, and sister in-law Marie Corso.
A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lynchburg, VA at 11 a.m., on Friday, July 15, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, August 1, 2022, at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
