Mary Frances Shifflet (Shifty) Drumheller, age 86, of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 18, 2015.
Born July 2, 1928 in Covington, VA daughter of the late George Washington Shifflet and Carrie Rose Shifflet. Wife of the late James F. Drumheller, Jr.
She was a graduate of Covington High School and Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. She was previously employed by Dominion Bank, Glassner Jewelers and Alleghany County Treasurers office. Former member of Beta Sigma Phi, Pi Mu Music Society.
She is survived by a special nephew and special niece, Greg and Bev Hall, her guardian Angel’s.
Join family and friends in a Celebration of Mary Frances’ life at the home of Greg and Bev on Sunday June 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held 11 am Sunday August 9, 2015 in Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Covington, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, 1211 Porter Street, Richmond, VA 23224.
Mary Frances was a lady of faith. Her chapter completed, her page turned, her life well lived and her rest well earned. “I have fought the good fight finished the race and kept the faith.” 2nd Timothy 4:7.
