Mary Lou Garlock

Mary Lou (Gardner) Garlock went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 20, 2023. She was born in Washington, DC, February 11, 1934.

She was preceded in death by parents Frank and Beatrice Gardner, brother Frank Gardner, Jr. (Adelaide), son Don Garlock Jr., and daughter-in-law Randi Garlock.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Donald A. Garlock, Sr., children Steve (Reba), Mary Lynn Poe (Doug) and Sherri Ann Bennett (Ken), 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and brother Bill Gardner (Anita).

Mary Lou graduated from Fairfax High School, Fairfax, VA, earned a BS in Education from Bob Jones University, and an MA in Education from Azusa Pacific University. She taught in elementary school for 7 years and in universities for 35 years.
