Mary Shull Goff

Mary Shull Goff, of Rustburg, passed away on January 19, 2025. She was born on July 26, 1935, a daughter of the late Charles Shull and Celia Greer Shull. Mary was the wife of the late Robert A. Goff.

She graduated from Campbell County Public Schools and worked as the assistant librarian for Rustburg High School for many years.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, John Goff; her daughter, Celia Massie; and five siblings, Tom Shull, Bob Shull, Dorothy Reece, Ray Shull, and Marilyn Fore.

She is survived by one son, Thomas Goff; five grandchildren, Brynn Lackey, Charles Goff, Wesley Lackey, Andrew Lackey, and Lantz Burton; five great grandchildren, Nate, Carmen, Collin, Hendrix, and River; and three sisters, Peggy Hines, Myrtle Hall, and Greer Tibbs.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Rustburg United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Cumbie Memorial Cemetery.
