Mary Catherine Fields Gray, 91, of Montvale, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at her residence. She was born on July 2, 1924 in Grundy, VA. She retired from Roanoke City Nursing Home. Mary loved the outdoors, gardening, flowers, spending time with her family and friends and most of all cooking. She will be missed dearly by all her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Gray; her three children, Audrey Richardson, James Gray, Jr. and Roger Gray. She is survived by five grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren any numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
