Mary Irene Brown Williams
Mary Irene Brown Williams, 99, of Keyser, WV, formerly of Lynchburg, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010. She was the wife of the late Carl T. Williams.
Mrs. Williams was born Saturday, November 7, 1911 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Peter Andrew Brown and Nettie Virginia Wilson Brown. She was a longtime member of Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Church and was active in the Telephone Pioneers of Virginia.
She is survived by her sons, Marshall R. Williams and wife, Susan, Burlington, WV; and Donald T. Williams and wife, Sarah, Pulaski, VA; and her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Miller.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Karl Keith Williams.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Chris Deneen officiating.
