Mary Mcafee H. Wines

Mary McAfee Hutcheson Wines, 75, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Winston-Salem, NC, died Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Westminster-Canterbury of Richmond. She was born March 10, 1935 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Dorothy Spottswood West Hutcheson and James Edward Hutcheson.

Mary Mac was a member of St. Paul\"™s Episcopal Church, Winston-Salem, NC. She was also the former owner of the Stocked Pot Gourmet Cooking Store in Winston-Salem and a retiree of US Airways.

Mary Mac is survived by three daughters, Dorothy West Stanton of Richmond, Sally Watts Wines of Panama City, FL and Mary Elizabeth Chesterfield and her husband, Richard of Cambridge, England; and three grandchildren, Mary Ashley Thomer and her husband, Joseph of Andrews Air Force Base, MD, John Charles Stanton, II and Dorothy West Stanton both of Richmond.

A celebration of Mary Mac\"™s life will be conducted at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Carl H. Douglass, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 586-3443.
