Mary Ellen Atwell Nevils, 61, of Bedford, died peacefully, at her home Thursday, July 28, 2016.
Born in Texas on July 27, 1955, she was the daughter of Della Mae Rose Berger and the late William Oley Atwell.
She is preceded in death by a son: James Edward Sines, III; three sisters: Linda Ward, Catherine Wiekel, Brenda Atwell; and brother: Clarence Atwell.
She is survived by her sons: Shone Puckkett, Michael Dragonetti, sisters: Cleo Shirkey and husband, Richard, Eunice Campbell, Martha McGhee and husband, Willard; brothers, David Atwell and wife, Sandra, Daniel Atwell, Donald Atwell, Barney Atwell and wife, Joyce; 11 Grandchildren; lifelong friends: Amy Nellum, and Becky Andrews; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Mike Hewitt with interment in Holy Land Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, August 1, 2016 from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m.
