Mary Ruth Cole
Mary Ruth Cole, 87, of Lynchburg, walked on to a better place on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. She was the wife of the late Quince Derthick Cole for more than 55 years.
Mary was also preceded in death by her parents, Claude Lafayette Isbill and Nannie Greenway McTeer, as well as four sisters and one brother.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Latimer, and her husband, Paul Jerry Latimer of Lynchburg; grandsons, Zachary Nathanial Latimer of New Hampshire, and Matthew Jason Latimer of Lynchburg; and two great-grandchildren, Patrick and Quinny Latimer of New Hampshire.
A service will be held in her honor at The Virginia Veteran\"™s Cemetery at Amelia, Friday, February 17, 2012 at 10:00 am. Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg is assisting the family (434) 237-9424.
