She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 63 years Marvin Sr, three children Lisa Morse (Darryl), Marvin, Jr. and Kimberly Davis-Marshall (Nathaniel), three sisters, Marie Davis-Woodson (Burnell), Delores Moody, and Lorraine Meade (Ronald). She also leaves 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 brothers in law Jesse Davis (Amanda), Robert Fleming, 4 sister in laws . Alda White, Isadore Morton, Ernestine Williams (Algie), and Arlene Davis. Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A special cousin Willa Scott Humber, a special niece Cori Davis and grandniece Makayla Davis.

God saw that she was getting tired,

A cure was not to be.

So he put his arms around her

And whispered, come and go with me.

Although we loved her dearly,

We could not make her stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

And hard working hands were put to rest,

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.
