Mary \"Susie\" Frances Davis Evans, 52, of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 16, 2010.
\"Susie\" was born December 18, 1957 in Lynchburg, VA, a daughter of the late Lenard W. Davis and Rena Martin Davis. She was retired from Mrs. Giles Country Kitchen.
She is survived by her children: Maurice Wendell Evans, Jr. and Dawn, Wendy Reneé Evans and Justin Cloncs, John Michael Evans and fiancé, Lindsey, all of Lynchburg, VA; her grandchildren: Micki J Evans, Jacob Edward Evans, Breanna Faye Carter, Brittany Ann Evans, Elizabeth Reneé Evans, Jessica Michelle Evans; her brothers: James L. Davis and Ann, of Piney River, Joe Davis and Carolyn, of Lynchburg, Raymond G. Davis and Hope, of Madison Heights and her sisters: Doris A. Thacker and Jimmy, of Madison Heights, Patsy Huffman, Lynchburg and her fiancé, Carroll B. Mann. She is also survived by her pet: Sadie Mann (baby), Blue Pt. Chihuahua
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Betty L. Mays, Shirley L. Fears and Eleanor M. Davis.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 pm today, April 18, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
